The second track to be released by Ancrum Moor. A long and epic sounding track, took nearly 2 months to finish this one due to commitments with Kaine, however it was very enjoyable writing this track as it explores a bit more than the previous one.
lyrics
Sacred words can't help you now (held in time)
Silence won't cover death (flew too high)
Falling from your life above (victimised)
Denizens surround the flood (taste demise)
Thought you'd shut it in (open wide)
Only to let it out (fear inside)
Can't seem to take control (endless climb)
Fates lost, pay the toll (for your crime)
No point in turning around
No point running away
Don't you dare give up now
When we've gotten so far
Face your demons deep inside
Fight back with viscious pride
Trapped, no light
A beacon lost to fright
Delayed reaction, Dizzying height
Torturous journey, but the light is so bright
Can we be sure in the end it's alright
Dare to face the future
Forget about the past
(We are what we make ourselves)
Spit in the face of hate
Did you really think this would last
(Together we remain strong)
With the power of one and all
The triumph is held up high
(Overthrown indignified)
The dark seal's fate is bound
The unholy face in shroud
(Mystery for evermore)
Origins and finality
Boundless realms, insanity
Oblivion waits, serenity
Origins and finality
Burn the skies
Relinquish all that died
Out of the realm
Of kingdoms that we defy
Saints, Of Sins
What if we turned to you
Heaven or Hell
Be what it may to you
Origins and finality
Boundless realms, insanity
Oblivion waits, serenity
Origins and finality
